Product overview

The Y-Boom Ladder is designed for floating docks, marinas and pier environments where a person must be able to climb out of the water quickly and safely. In these environments, a fixed escape point is essential because the freeboard, movement and side geometry of a floating installation can make self-rescue difficult without dedicated access equipment.

Unlike rigid solutions that may lose effective reach when water levels or pier height change, the Y Boom Ladder is mounted directly to the Y-boom and follows the movement of the floating structure. This helps maintain usable reach below the waterline and makes the ladder more dependable in real rescue situations.

Its serrated steps improve grip in wet conditions, while the slim placement keeps the ladder close at hand without obstructing normal use of the pier. Reflectors on the ladder, together with the reflective rescue sign and handle, improve visibility and make the rescue point easier to identify in darkness, rain and poor weather.

The product supports planning of safe waterfront environments and aligns with guidance for rescue access, visibility and ladder placement in marina and pier installations.
