Installation
The Rescue Ladder should be placed in waterfront areas where quick self-rescue or assisted rescue may be required, such as quays, piers, docks and similar vertical-edge environments. It can be installed as part of an existing rescue post, or mounted separately, displayed prominently for easy access and visibility. It should be easy to access, clearly visible and positioned where a person in the water can realistically reach it. The selected ladder length should match the quay height and ensure that the lower part of the ladder reaches sufficiently below the water surface for safe climbing. The ladder is hooked onto the quay or pier edge during use, and the longer version can provide improved positioning in installations where additional reach is needed. Reflectors, contrasting rung colours and rescue markings improve visibility and orientation in emergency situations.

Handle
Our ergonomic handle makes it easier and more convenient to climb over quay edges. The handle’s sleek design reduces the risk of tripping on the handle when it’s placed near a side walk. The handle is made of moulded aluminium and designed to hold up in all climates and to fit into the urban environment on both stone- and wooden quays.
Hitch hooks
Hitch hooks provide a stable point for the ladder to reach well below the surface, giving an exit option for those in distress, with enough space to make it easy to climb.
Lift Up a Person in Distressy
Perform a “quay lift” by turning the ladder around, lowering it into the water, placing the hooks under the person’s arms, and pulling the ladder – with the person – up over the quay edge.
Visibility
The ladder is easy to identify as a rescue device thanks to its red and yellow rungs, high-visibility yellow reflectors, and the “RESCUE LADDER” decal.
Floats
The rescue ladder floats and can be used as a flotation aid.
